This document is the Octegen Music SMS Policy and provides details on SMS communications, covering both operational and marketing messages sent by Octeyon (AI Assistant). While example message content may slightly vary, the sequence and purpose remain consistent across all SMS communications.

2. Operational SMS Communications

These messages are essential for service-related interactions and do not require additional consent.

When Users Receive Operational SMS Messages:

  1. If they need to confirm their name or details during a call.
  2. If they request a link to a resource or website.
  3. If they book an appointment and require confirmation or updates.
  4. If they receive rescheduling or cancellation notices.

Example Operational SMS Messages Sent by Octeyon:

  1. Name Confirmation:
    "Hi, this is Octeyon from Octegen Music. Please confirm your name by replying with your full name."
  2. Resource Links:
    "Hi, this is Octeyon from Octegen Music. Here’s the link you requested: example.com"
  3. Appointment Confirmation:
    "Hi, this is Octeyon from Octegen Music. Your appointment is confirmed for (Example Date & Time). Reply CANCEL to cancel."

Users cannot opt out of operational messages as they are necessary for inquiries, support, or service updates.

3. Marketing SMS Communications

Marketing messages are sent only after a call ends and require explicit user consent.

Marketing SMS Flow:

  1. Opt-In Request:
    "Hi, this is Octeyon from Octegen Music. Want to receive exclusive updates & offers? Reply YES to subscribe & qualify for an example percentage discount. You'll need to provide your email in the next step to fully qualify."
  2. User Replies YES (Confirms SMS Opt-In):
    "Thank you for subscribing! To complete your signup and get your discount, please reply with your email address."
  3. User Provides Email (Confirms Email Opt-In):
    "Great! You're now signed up for SMS & email updates. Use code EXAMPLECODE at checkout for your example percentage discount. Reply STOP anytime to unsubscribe."

Alternative Opt-In Method:

  1. Users can also subscribe to both SMS & email updates by texting a keyword (e.g., "JOIN") to (888)-OCTEGEN.
  2. They will receive a follow-up message asking for their email to fully qualify for incentives.

How to Opt-Out of SMS & Email Marketing:

  1. Users can reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe from SMS marketing.
  2. To unsubscribe from emails, users must click the "Unsubscribe" link in any marketing email.
  3. Opting out of SMS does not automatically unsubscribe from email marketing.

4. Compliance & Legal Requirements

  1. TCPA Compliance: We require explicit consent for marketing SMS messages.
